Handyman/Laborer

We are a Brooklyn-based property management and development company seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general repairs,appliance troubleshooting, andHVAC maintenance, with the ability to work independently across multiple rental buildings. Responsibilities: • Perform routine and emergency maintenance across residential and mixed-use properties • Diagnose and repair home appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers/dryers, etc.) • Conduct HVAC servicing, including seasonal maintenance and basic repairs • Handle plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry tasks • Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests • Maintain clear communication with the office regarding work orders and timelines • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Requirements: • 3+ years of hands-on handyman or building maintenance experience • Strong knowledge of appliance repair and HVAC systems • Valid driver's license andreliable transportation • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Bonus if you have: • EPA 608 certification or similar HVAC credentials • Experience with NYC buildings and local codes • Bilingual (Spanish/English) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Schedule: • 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: • Brooklyn, NY 11249 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Brooklyn, NY 11249: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
