Handyman/Laborer, Tradesman, 1099 Contractor

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to tackle various tasks on job sites efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Tradesman will work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. Responsibilities • Execute various construction tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. • Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively as needed on construction sites. • Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks. • Install cabinets, doors, trim carpentry, flooring, tiles, and glass as required. • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. • Utilize caulking techniques for sealing gaps in structures. • Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects and hardscape installations. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the worksite. Skills • Proficiency in Bluebeam for project management and documentation. • Strong background in construction management and estimating. • Experience in plumbing, electrical systems, plastering, concrete forming, and masonry. • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. • Ability to perform restoration work including roofing and stucco applications. • Knowledge of fabrication techniques relevant to construction projects. • Expertise in blueprint reading and understanding construction site layouts. • Skills in construction painting, tile laying, flooring installation, frame carpentry, door hanging, caulking, trim carpentry, and glass installation.
