Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Tape Drive Test Engineer the responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Developing test plans and strategies to cover all aspects of design identifying failure points and determining the best verification methods.

• Understand server hardware/firmware functionalities and schematics.

• Creating test cases to exercise design under various conditions.

• Running test cases analyzing results and identifying design errors.

• Employing various verification tools and techniques to improve efficiency and coverage.

• Working closely with Sr. Engineers to understand design intent reproduce issues and implement fixes.

• Designing and developing test automation scripts using Python and the Robot Framework.

• Maintaining and updating existing test automation frameworks to improve functionality.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Familiarity with server design and architecture.

• Experience with Git/GitHub or similar version control software.

• Experience in generating test cases for embedded devices.
