Hardwood Floor Installer and Finisher

Overview We are seeking a skilled Wood Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction and restoration, with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes to wood surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities • Prepare wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying stains or sealants. • Apply finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve desired results. • Perform restoration tasks on damaged wood surfaces, including water damage restoration and buffing. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including flooring installation and tile laying. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Skills • Familiarity with caulking methods and construction painting techniques. • Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently for remodeling projects. • Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
