Haulage Supervisor

Salary: £34,398 plus a bonus and Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week on a rolling shift basis (days)

Location: Area 6 Oceanic Way, Marchwood Industrial Park, Marchwood, SO40 4BD

What will you be doing?

• Supervise Haulage Team to maintain a safe workplace for all employees and contractors. Ensuring that a safe, efficient and compliant service is delivered throughout the day in line with Veolia policies and procedures

• Support the provision of induction and ongoing training for all new starters, contractors and refresher training for existing employees including delivering tool box talks and issuing permits to work

• Real time monitoring of driver workloads to ensure all work completed daily using tracking software

• Daily reconciliation of Weighbridge Tickets from TFS & HWRC’s and onward distribution

• Effective planning of holidays to ensure minimal requirement for third party hauliers

What are we looking for?

• Experience gained in a similar role and supervising a small team

• WIMS experience is essential

• CMS Supatrak or other tracking software experience 

• Excellent Mathematics and English language skills

• IOSH/NEBOSH experience is desirable

• LGV experience would be an advantage
