Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining and catering, with a proven track record of managing kitchen operations efficiently. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all kitchen operations, including food production and service management.
• Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and cater to diverse dietary needs.
• Manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during events and regular dining hours.
• Plan and execute catering services for special events, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Monitor food preparation processes to maintain quality control throughout service.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for kitchen staff and implement effective shift management strategies.
Skills
• Extensive experience in the food industry with a focus on fine dining and catering.
• Strong leadership abilities with a background in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
• Proficient in menu planning, food production, and culinary techniques.
• Knowledgeable in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and controlling stock levels.
