Duties • Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. • Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. • Manage inventory effectively, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. • Coordinate catering services for special events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of dishes. • Maintain high standards of kitchen management, including staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. • Monitor food quality during preparation and service to ensure consistency and excellence. • Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall guest satisfaction through culinary offerings. Experience • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings. • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and kitchen management practices. • Demonstrated ability in inventory management and cost control measures. • Experience in team management with a focus on fostering collaboration and professional growth among staff. • Proficiency in food preparation techniques across various cuisines with an emphasis on catering services. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead a diverse team.
