Head of Engineering

Track24 is currently searching for a results-driven Head of Engineering to steer our engineering team and propel the development of our innovative location intelligence software, AtlasNXT. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our Chief Product Technology Officer (CPTO) and Head of Product to define the technological direction and enhance our development strategy.

AtlasNXT represents the forefront of safeguarding and communications SaaS solutions, empowering organisations to protect, inform, and engage their teams effectively. Our platform, engineered in Elixir, is built for scalability and adaptability to meet diverse client needs globally.

As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure design and architecture, working with a talented team of Elixir and Flutter engineers, and managing the development of AtlasNXT and maintenance of our legacy systems. Your leadership will guide our engineers in delivering top-tier solutions.

Requirements

• Strong background in leading engineering teams within the SaaS sector, with a proven track record in software development management
• Expertise in Infrastructure and DevOps methodologies, particularly in complex deployment environments
• Experience managing cloud deployments across multiple vendors and regions, alongside on-premises deployments
• Solid understanding or hands-on experience with VM-based deployments and development in Elixir or related languages (e.g., Erlang)
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote engineering teams effectively
• Experience in sourcing and engaging global vendors for engineering resources
• Proven track record overseeing engineering compliance processes and documentation (ISO27001 or similar)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

We are open to applicants outside of the UK, and therefore are offering the role on a remote basis. For those based in and around the London area, we also have an office available for use if desired.
