• Leading and managing a small team of IT professionals responsible for supporting and developing ecosio’s local IT infrastructure, ensuring a high level of service availability and user satisfaction.

• Developing and mentoring IT staff, including conducting performance reviews, coordinating training, and supporting career development.

• Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of user endpoint devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.

• Managing and further enhancing ecosio’s Google Workspace environment, ensuring it is securely configured and integrated with other tools and services

• Working closely with the Site Reliability Engineering team to ensure seamless integration between local-IT infrastructure and cloud environments, optimizing performance and ensuring security.

• Leading projects to enhance and optimize IT systems, including the adoption of cloud technologies for automation wherever appropriate.

• Helping ecosio’s local-IT environment to scale-up to the next phase in its development in a secure and efficient way (up to at least 500 people) 

• Running an efficient IT systems team 

• Establishing a scalable IT systems landscape by collaborating with our existing development teams

• Implementing, maintaining and documenting an information security, product security and IT risk management program (according to ISO 27001, NIS2, etc.) together with the CISO

• Developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and best practices, including those related to system maintenance, service provisioning, and disaster recovery.

To connect with ecosio it is important to have…

• Tech background, software engineer or similar

• Fluency in English required; proficiency in German is an advantage

• At least 7 - 10 years of experience in in-house IT Systems management

• At least 3 years of relevant leadership experience 

• Degree in technology related field (computer science, software engineering) 

• Know-how of governance, risk and compliance programs and how to implement them

• Experience with driving certifications and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001 

• Knowledge in information security and data privacy concepts, threats and technologies including industry standards and various best practices

• Experience with cloud-based IT company environments, preferably Google Workspace 

• Experience scaling IT-infrastructure from 120 - 500 people 

• Experience in setting up efficient IT helpdesk and procurement structures 

• Experience in working with fast-growing startups and mid-sized companies

• Strong hands-on technical experience of IT infrastructure, process implementation and security systems from previous roles 

• AI and automation skills are a plus

According to the Austrian collective agreement, the minimum salary is 70.000 €/year. Of course, we are happy to offer much higher compensation based on qualifications and experience!
