Job Description: 

The Head of Marketing will drive Shelf revenue, GTM strategy, demand generation, and brand awareness to promote the growth of our Knowledge Management platform. Our platform combines AI with modern SaaS infrastructure and a simple user experience to help agents and customers get the answers they need–on-demand. 

The Head of Marketing will lead and direct Shelf’s brand and marketing strategies, they’ll set and achieve targets, and establish relationships with the media and clients. In addition, this person will have  a proven track record of being a keen multitasker and who thrives in a competitive environment. Outstanding candidates have extensive experience developing brand and marketing strategies for new products within a SaaS driven environment or innovative technology start-up. The Head of Marketing must be able to make recommendations about marketing strategies, to the C-Suite, and action those strategies expeditiously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Drive demand for Shelf across all digital channels at every stage of the buyer journey.
  • Accelerate Shelf growth through creative and effective digital marketing and ABM campaigns that create new sales pipelines and drive expansion revenue.
  • Develop a deep understanding of ideal customer profile roles, needs, motivations, and purchase processes for each Shelf target market.
  • Experiment, optimize and scale digital marketing programs, including the shelf website, PPC, SEO, advertising, email, chat, and social to increase engagement, conversion, and ROI.
  • Build and manage world class marketing operations.  Oversee all Shelf marketing websites, databases, automation tools, integrations, and management reporting.
  • Deploy state-of-the-art marketing metrics, including full funnel multi-touch attribution, to instill understanding of marketing impact and accountability across the entire marketing organization.
  • Work closely with sales, field marketing, community marketing, product marketing, partner marketing, content marketing and corporate marketing to execute integrated marketing campaigns across specific segments, channels, and regions.massive opportunity. 
  • Partner Management: Create enablement materials, attend and host webinars, participate in events, and develop product one-pagers to enhance partner relationships and drive success.
  • Event Management: Oversee booth design, swag design and management, create and run promotions, and the creation of support materials to ensure impactful and memorable event experiences.
  • Analyst Management: Lead analyst pitches, coordinate vendor briefings, manage the MQL wave, and maintain strong analyst relations to effectively position Shelf within the market.

  • Experience in building and optimizing processes to streamline marketing operations and drive efficiency.
  • Ability to understand and analyze metrics effectively to track performance, identify trends, and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Deep experience sharing those metrics with the C-Suite in a way that helps drive strategic decisions regarding the overall marketing function of Shelf.
  • Adaptive and open to change, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing; MBA a plus.
