Head of Marketing Growth

ABOUT THE ROLE

RootstockLabs exists to make Bitcoin work for everyone. We do this by giving developers the tools to build on Bitcoin, supporting the growth of the Rootstock ecosystem and expanding the frontiers of decentralised technology.

You will play a critical role in leading & developing campaigns to drive growth and adoption of RIF technologies and Rootstock, the longest-running and leading Bitcoin sidechain. You will be primarily focused on driving user and transaction growth as well as supporting our DevRel team in growing and nurturing Rootstock’s rapidly growing developer community. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work in Web3 and on cutting-edge technology. You will play a strategic and hands-on role working with senior leaders in the business to develop a long term growth marketing strategy while also planning and managing ongoing integrated marketing campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that have measurable impact on our growth ambitions and objectives
• Playing a visible leadership role in the GTM function and across the wider organization
• Working closely with content, social, community and comarketing teams to ensure all day to day activity is properly coordinated and the impact is measured and reported effectively
• Defining processes and fostering a collaborative environment that maximizes the expertise of team members to deliver integrated & impactful marketing initiatives at scale
• Designing comprehensive campaigns around critical milestones that encompass a mix of digital, traditional, and emerging marketing channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand strategy.
• Leveraging multi-channel marketing tactics:
  • Identifying and leveraging the most suitable marketing channels to engage our target audience effectively.
• Analyzing campaign performance:
  • Utilizing data-driven insights to measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Supporting on OKR development and identifying the key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate success, providing actionable recommendations for optimization and future campaignsLead and manage an exceptional growth marketing team, coach and develop them while driving results and surfacing the impact of your work to the wider organization
• Staying abreast of industry trends:
  • Continuously monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to drive innovation and keep our marketing efforts at the forefront of the industry
    

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years experience leading teams executing successful integrated marketing campaigns driving real business impact
• A creative mindset backed up with a strong grasp of core marketing metrics and methodologies
• The ability to balance both hands on execution and strategic thinking 
• Demonstrable background in Web3, with hands on experience using different chains and protocols
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
• A strong sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
• Outstanding organizational and time and  people management skills
• Knowledge of day to day media project management and marketing tools such as Asana, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Google Sheets
• BSc/BA in Marketing, communications or similar
