The Assignment

The Head of Performance Financial Planning & Analysis drives strategic insight at Valiantys, supports the Executive Committee and their teams in executing the strategy with relevant analysis and indicators, and delivers critical financial reports, analysing performance against goals. This role also encompasses leading process improvements to support decision-making and optimize business operations.

 

 

Things you will be working on

Reporting

Prepare Board of Director monthly activity report and financial reporting in compliance with the defined planning and deadlines, and in accordance with external stakeholders and Executive Committee expectations

Steer monthly business reviews with regional C-level and Financial Controllers and provide business input to rationalise variation to budget, forecasts and to previous years, including monthly, quarterly and year-to-date reviews

Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by shareholders

Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis

Prepare, with regional C-level, top line and gross margin budget and reforecasts

Understand and monitor revenue and gross margin performance against budget and reforecasts in relation with regional C-level and their teams, with a specific focus on projects margin and planification

Identify and analyse activity drivers / KPIs* to allow Senior Leadership to better understand and steer company performance

Provide detailed analysis and commentary on costs (COGS*)

Review performance with regional C-level and recommend productivity, cost savings and operations streamlining initiatives

Contribute to preparation of ad hoc business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions (e.g. work with Executive Committee to build acquisition finance models)

Perform ad hoc analysis: financial, economic, benchmark, competition, etc.

Contribution to Transverse Projects

Deliver meaningful insights into business performance, using BI* tools

Define and communicate finance requirements in relation to BI* tools and projects, or any other initiatives in relation with transformational project (e.g. Shape 27) where FP&A* inputs are required

Provide reporting needs as part of the ERP* (Oracle Net suite) implementation

Oversee the implementation of a management reporting and consolidation system (Opera)

Process Improvement

Review existing reporting and FP&A* processes and procedures to propose and develop improvements in collaboration with other Finance teams

Oversee the projects controlling process (KPIs*, tools, reporting model, etc.)

 

And you are

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer. You will work closely with the FP&A teams, Corporate FP&A, Projects FP&A, Finance Controllers, Head of Transformation, Senior Leaders, Executive Committee.

 

Location 

This role is fully remote and business travel may be required.
