Job Description
- Leading 7 Business Unit Managers dedicated to direct and indirect sales, each leading a team of business developers driving sales of specific product portfolios.
- Providing direction and leadership within the framework of the group philosophy and policies, and within the group's and company’s strategy and objectives, in cooperation with the General Manager.
- Setting goals for subordinates according to Management by Objectives (MbO).
- Preparing budgets, plans for sales, costs, and economic results.
- Ensuring the achievement of the approved budget, allocates necessary resources, manages, and controls the overall performance of sales – sales, costs, profit, and takes immediate measures if necessary.
- Recruiting, training, and evaluating direct subordinates and approves all personnel decisions in the further hierarchical structure in line with Manual of Authority.
- Monitoring the sales market as well as the competition, assesses strengths and weaknesses, identifies, evaluates, and proposes business opportunities, and suggests effective tools to combat competition.
- Overseeing business activities, implementing strategies, objectives, approving sales prices, and conditions, and handles complaints in sales.
- Maintaining regular personal contact with key existing and potential customers to assess their satisfaction and detect future trends.
- Representing sales and its interests and needs within management.
- Cooperating in the creation of sales support tools.
- Controlling the proposal of sales prices and negotiates purchase prices.
- Preparing and monitors the activity schedule for Business Unit managers.
- Responsibility for the accuracy of concluded contracts and their compliance.
- Oversees sales and after-sales services, promotion, and advertising.
- Cooperates with the logistics department in handling product quality complaints.
- Collaborates with the finance department regarding guidelines and internal company policies.

- 5+ years of experience collaborating with executive or senior leadership
- Proven leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to guide and inspire teams effectively
- Business and financial acumen
- Active listening and strong communication skills
- Empathy
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Fluent Slovak and English language
