Head Start Teacher

***SALARY IS DEPENDENT ON POSITION, LEVEL OF DEGREE, AND EXPERIENCE*** Impact Learning Center is looking for multiple Lead Head Start Teachers that are caring, hardworking, self-motivated and able instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual, social and physical growth. This is in partnership with the new Duval County Head Start Grant. **LEAD TEACHERS MUST HAVE AA/BA DEGREE in education or related field, 45 DCF HOURS.** Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields • Experienced with Head Start is preferred • Must be able to implement curriculum based lesson plans • Should be familiar with and perform developmental assessments • Passionate about working with children • Ability to build rapport with children & families • Positive and patient demeanor • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • MUST HAVE 45 DCF HRS • LEAD TEACHERS MUST HAVE AA/AS or BA/BS degree • Must be able to pass a background check Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: • Employee discount • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Tuition reimbursement Application Question(s): • Is your degree in the Education feild or do you have 15 education credit hrs.
