Head Sushi Chef

We are seeking a talented Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sushi dishes while ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delighting our customers with delicious Japanese cuisine. Responsibilities • Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes according to traditional recipes and presentation standards. • Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients used in sushi preparation. • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new menu items and improve existing offerings. • Assist in menu planning and inventory management for sushi ingredients. • Train kitchen staff on proper sushi preparation techniques as needed. Requirements • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting. • Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine. • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
