As a Health & Hygiene Lead, you will be responsible for driving compliance, innovation, and employee wellbeing by establishing robust health policies, monitoring programs, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Health and Hygiene regulations and standards (local, state, and company).
• Develop and implement local health policies and programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Lead and monitor occupational health and hygiene programs (e.g., exposure assessments, noise, ergonomics, chemical and biological agents).
• Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement mitigation strategies to address workplace health challenges.
• Oversee health monitoring programs, including occupational health assessments and employee check-ups.
• Provide training on Health and Hygiene best practices, ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge.
• Support investigating health-related incidents, analyze data, and report trends to senior leadership, driving corrective actions.
• Promote health and wellness initiatives, such as vaccination programs, mental health support, and healthy lifestyle campaigns.

About you

Experience:

• Experience in Health, Safety & Environment Field.

Hard and soft skills:

• Master-level expertise in Occupational Health, Hygiene and Chemical Safety
• Strong coaching and leadership skills to drive transformation and elevate Health & Hygiene performance.
• High proficiency in regulatory compliance and intermediate proficiency in product stewardship.
• Proven direct and transversal management abilities, fostering collaboration across teams.
• Strong sense of responsibility with a track record of completing tasks diligently and on time.
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration with colleagues and departments to achieve common objectives.
• Advanced user-level proficiency in computer applications.

Education:

• A relevant degree in Occupational Health & Safety Degree

Language:

• Fluent English, Hungarian is a must
