We develop customized uniform programs for organizations across the nation by leveraging a vast trusted supplier network, coupled with our in-house embroidery and tailoring services. Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Heat Press Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for customizing uniforms to meet customer specifications using a heat press machine to apply Direct-to-film (DTF) and vinyl designs. You will review customer orders, prepare garments for pressing, and ensure the proper placement of logos, names, and numbers. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. Job Responsibilities • Operate a heat press machine to customize uniforms according to customer specifications. • Review customer orders and ensure accuracy of customization, including placement of logos, names, and numbers. • Adjust the heat press machine settings to ensure proper temperature and pressure for each garment. • Prepare the garments for customization, including pre-pressing, trimming, and ensuring that they are clean and wrinkle-free. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the heat press machine, tools, and supplies. • Keep inventory of supplies and materials needed for the heat press machine. • Troubleshoot any issues with the heat press machine, such as temperature or pressure problems, and notify the appropriate team member if needed. • Communicate with customers to ensure that customization meets their expectations. • Meet production quotas and deadlines set by management. • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Skills and Qualifications • No previous experience operating a heat press machine is required (Full training will be provided) • Experience with Direct-to-Film and vinyl heat pressing is desired, but not required. • Ability to read and interpret customer orders and specifications. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • God organizational skills and ability to multitask. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production quotas and deadlines. • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instruction. • Meet physical requirements: standing for 90% of the job, sitting for 5%, kneeling down for 25%, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
