Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in service technician roles. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure their HVAC needs are met efficiently and effectively. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units and systems. • Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Conduct field service visits to assess and resolve client issues. • Collaborate with construction teams on HVAC design and installation projects. • Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance tasks. • Handle ammonia refrigeration systems as required. • Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Qualifications • Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics. • Familiarity with refrigeration systems and appliance repair. • Experience in property maintenance or construction is a plus. • Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics. • Welding skills are advantageous for certain repair tasks. • Previous experience with boiler systems is preferred. • Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
