High School Mathematics Teacher- Part-time /Full Time

As a college preparatory school, APA maintains strong academic requirements for all classes. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in AP Pre-Calculus, Honor Algebra 1( for 8th graders) , 7th Grade Math ( for 6th Graders) . The successful applicant will be committed to supporting students' academic growth and personal development. Duties • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum. • Mentor and support students academically and personally, fostering their growth and confidence. • Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment. • Assess student progress through regular testing and assignments, providing constructive feedback. • Offer tutoring sessions for students needing additional assistance outside of regular class hours. • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and share best practices. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Qualifications • A degree in Education or a relevant subject area. • A strong Knowledge in Math. • Proven experience in teaching at the Middle & high school level. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. • Proficiency in proofreading to ensure the accuracy of instructional materials. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
