Hiring CDL Long Distance Drivers

WORK AVAILABLE STARTING NOW!! Job Overview Coast 2 Coast Moving is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL licensed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting household goods to our clients' new homes (typical starting point being in Southern California). This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate routes effectively. You will be responsible to properly drive a 53-foot Kentucky Van with sleeper. This position is for candidates who are willing to be on the road 2 to 3 weeks per month Duties • Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles: Sleeper cab and Kentucky Moving Van • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. • Load and unload cargo as necessary - additional pay if you are willing to help unload te items to the client's home (with additinal local crew members) • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes taken, and vehicle maintenance. • Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. • Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining a high level of customer service. Qualifications • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. • Familiarity with Motive or like ELD systems • Minimum 2 years of driving 53' Moving Vans • Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo (additional pay for helping with unloading) • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. (must have your own working cell phone) *** Previous experience driving with moving Vanlines a plus, but not required *** • $.49/mile starting pay (experience drivers with moving knowledge can earn more) • DOT medical card is a must (either already have or acquire at hiring) • $200 SIGN ON BONUS (AFTER 3 MONTHS OF CONTINUED WORK) • WEEKLY PAY! • Accrued paid time-off • Paid sick leave • Flexible schedule to fit your needs! • Paid daily food and lodging per diem while on the road There will be a DMV background check and standard road test to ensure you are capable of driving safely a 53-foot box truck (please don't apply if you do not know how to drive one or you do not have at least 2 years experience with proper licensing). Tips are paid that same day, and payroll is completed every Monday (weekly, not bi-weekly). YES, this is a payroll position so do not apply if you expect a cash pay.
