About the Role
We are seeking aHome Advisorthat serves as both a trusted guide and a strategic partner for clients navigating post-disaster recovery. This isn’t a traditional customer service or sales role; it’s a hybrid ofaccount management, consultative sales, and customer success, where you’ll identify needs, highlight value, and connect clients to the financial tools, vendors, and resources that will help them move forward.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked insales,financial services, home improvement, or a similar field and who knows how to identify pain points, develop solutions, and establish trust quickly. You’ll be part coach, part financial analyst, and part deal-closer, helping clients get the most from our platform and products, while ensuring their recovery journey stays on track.
What You’ll Do

Own Customer Relationships: Manage a portfolio of recovery clients and act as their primary point of contact from onboarding through major recovery milestones.

Identify Needs, Deliver Value: Engage clients in thoughtful conversations to uncover their goals, assess gaps, and recommend Bright Harbor tools, partners, and services that best support their recovery.

Guide Financial Strategy: Assist clients in interpreting insurance settlements, estimating rebuild costs, and exploring available funding options to close any financial gaps.
•
Drive Adoption and Outcomes: Ensure clients are getting the most from our platform by proactively guiding them toward the next step, resource, or partner they need.
•
Coordinate Internally: Work closely with our vendor network, product team, and internal recovery experts to deliver a coordinated, high-quality experience for each customer.

Capture Insights: Gather customer feedback and surface patterns that can inform product development, vendor partnerships, and marketing messaging.
•
Contribute to Revenue: Although this isn’t a hard-closing sales role, your work will have a direct impact on retention, upselling, and overall customer value.
What You Bring
•
2–5 years of experience insales within the construction or energy industries (solar a plus), SaaS account management, customer success, home improvement, or financial services.
•
Proven ability to manage a customer portfolio, deliver consultative value, and drive outcomes across a multi-touch journey.
•
Financial fluency: comfortable helping customers interpret quotes, payments, and rebuild estimates.
•
High emotional intelligence and customer empathy, especially in sensitive, high-stress situations.
•
Excellent communication skills (written, phone, video, text).
•
Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline, track progress, and document conversations.
•
Comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with evolving tools and playbooks.
•
Based in Austin, TX, and excited to work in person with our team and partners.
Bonus Points
•
Experience in insurance, disaster recovery, housing, or government-funded programs.
Compensation
•
Base Salary - 70k
•
OTE - 100-120k
•
Bonus Frequency - Monthly + Quarterly Performance Bonuses
