BENEFIT PACKAGE INCLUDES: • Competitive salary • Medical and life insurance; dental plan with small employee contribution • 401(k) • Generous Holiday/vacation package • Outstanding orientation and ongoing staff training and education • Free CEUs MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of California • Valid Drivers License and Proof of Auto Insurance Coverage • Preferable one (1) year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three (3) years • Demonstrated ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients, families and caregivers in varied settings and to function effectively in a nursing facility environment. • Demonstrated skill in nursing practice, ability to cope with family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles • Able to handle multiple priorities, documentation requirements and deadlines • Able to work independently and with other staff members to accomplish goals • Forms professional relationships easily, maintains professional boundaries. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Able to travel to multiple locations in the course of the working day/week. • Reliable transportation with required insurance coverage The Alternate Hour/Weekend Hospice RN is responsible for assisting with overall provision of care for hospice patients in San Diego County. We have multiple shifts available during the week (PM shift) and on the weekends (PM shift). We offer both 8- hour and 10 hour shifts. The hospice RN will assist RN Case Mangers, Admissions, and other disciplines as needed. This is a flexible and exciting position with lots of opportunity for growth and development. PM shifts required: Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday (8 or 10 hour shifts) We also have an opening for an RN Case Manager for South/Central/East Counties Schedule is Monday-Friday, day shift (8 or 10 hour shifts available).
