About the Opportunity: We are recruiting on behalf of a respected hospitality client seeking anExecutive Chefto lead the back-of-house operations at a flagship property located in the heart of Chicago. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a passionate, creative, and experienced culinary professional ready to oversee a dynamic kitchen in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage all culinary operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service • Oversee menu development with a focus on seasonal, innovative, and cost-effective offerings • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations • Monitor food and labor costs to ensure budgetary goals are met • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained • Collaborate with front-of-house management to deliver exceptional guest experiences Qualifications: • Must have prior experience managing a unionized kitchen staff, with a clear understanding of union protocols, scheduling, and labor relations. • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with at least 2 years in an Executive Chef role • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a culinary team • Excellent knowledge of food trends, kitchen techniques, and menu engineering • ServSafe or equivalent certification required • Union kitchen experience preferred (if applicable) • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. What We Offer: • Competitivecompensation $120,000andperformance-based incentives • Benefits package including health, dental, and vision • Supportive leadership and a collaborative work environment • Opportunities for professional development and growth Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
