Housekeeper

Job Overview The Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception are seeking a full-time Housekeeper for their Transitional Care Facility located in Tenafly, New Jersey. The Transitional Care facility provides holistic care in a homelike setting that promotes human dignity and inner peace of mind and soul for each sister. Responsibilities • Dusting furniture, fixtures and electronics • Vacuuming rugs, carpets & upholstery • Sweeping & mopping of tile, hardwoods & laminate floors • Clean bathrooms and restock toiletries & paper supplies • Straighten up rooms, make beds and organize as needed • Laundry, wash, dry, fold and iron clothing and linens • Empty trash bins and dispose of trash & recycling Requirements • Experience as a Housekeeper in a long term care setting preferred. • Attention to detail, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy items • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
