Housekeeper – Full Time Maplewood Treatment Solutions Merchantville, NJ Position Summary Maplewood Treatment Solutions, a residential substance abuse treatment facility, is seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedFull-Time Housekeeperto join our team. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. This position requires reliability, discretion, and compassion in working within a healthcare and residential setting. Key Responsibilities • Clean and sanitize facility common areas, including hallways, lounges, and dining areas. • Clean client bedrooms, including: • Making beds and changing linens. • Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors. • Emptying trash and maintaining general cleanliness. • Clean and disinfect bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, fixtures, and floors). • Start and manage laundry cycles, including bed linens, towels, and other facility linens as needed. • Ensure all housekeeping supply closets are organized and adequately stocked. • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. • Follow all infection control and safety protocols in compliance with healthcare standards. • Perform other general housekeeping duties as assigned to support facility operations. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience (healthcare or residential facility experience is a plus). • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality in a treatment setting. • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Schedule & Compensation • Status:Full-Time (40 hours per week) • Schedule:Flexible shifts, may include weekends or evenings based on facility needs. • Compensation:Competitive hourly rate; benefits package available.
