Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and hospitality, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and requires a proactive approach to housekeeping tasks. Responsibilities • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy and inviting. • Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. • Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. • Conduct inspections of rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. • Assist with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as required. Qualifications • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus. • Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed during cleaning tasks. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. • Experience in housekeeping management is advantageous but not required.
