Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred. Responsibilities • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness. • Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition. • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction. • Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety regulations. • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Qualifications • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; IHG Brand Hotels or hospitality experience is a plus. • Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally. • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
