Duties include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, offices, halls, and other spaces using household and commercial cleaning equipment and products. This position may involve working in areas with pets. The Housekeeper works closely with team members across departments and provides services with care, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of an aging population. Job Title:Housekeeper, Health Center Hours:7:00AM-3:30PM Tuesday – Friday and every other weekend, 40 hours per week. Pay:Starting at $16.87per hour Department: Environmental Services ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas • Make beds, clean furniture, dust, and vacuum floors/upholstery • Empty trash and recycling, transport to designated areas • Maintain housekeeping equipment, carts, and supply rooms • Restock paper products and soap as needed • Follow safety, infection control, HIPAA, and compliance guidelines EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). • 2-3 years prior experience in housekeeping is required . • Previous work experience within a retirement community is a plus !!
