Job Title:Housekeeper Facility:Cypress Garden Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation Location:Queens, New York Shift:Part-Time, ALL SHIFTS Pay Rate:$23.48/hr Job Description: Cypress Garden Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and hardworkingHousekeeperto join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and visitors. The ideal candidate will havehousekeeping experience, preferably in ahealthcaresetting. Responsibilities: • Cleanresident rooms, includingbathroomsand personal items (e.g.,wheelchairs,commodes). • Maintain the cleanliness of thespa area,utility rooms,storage rooms, andlinen rooms. • Report any neededrepairsormaintenanceissues to theSupervisor. • Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility, includingdining rooms,dayrooms,break rooms, andpublic bathrooms. • Dust and wet mopcorridors, removetrash, and maintain cleanfloor surfaces. • Refinishhard floor surfacesand vacuum/extractcarpeted surfaces. • Maintain adequate supplies such asbathroom tissue,paper towels, andhand soap. • Changeroom divider curtainsandwindow draperiesas needed. • Inspect and manage cleaning procedures, ensuringsafe working conditionsand high cleanliness standards. • Suggest improvements for procedures orequipmentto enhance safety and cleanliness. • Perform other duties as assigned by theSupervisor. Requirements: • Previoushousekeeping experiencerequired;healthcare experiencepreferred. • Strongattention to detailand ability to maintain cleanliness standards. • Ability to workindependentlyand as part of ateam. • Excellent communication skills. • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
