Housekeeper/Janitor

Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/HouseKeeper to join our team. As a Janitor/HouseKeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall appearance of our facilities. This is a crucial role in providing a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors. Duties: - Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Dust and wipe down surfaces, including windows, furniture, and fixtures - Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines Qualifications: - Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Skills: - Industrial cleaning - Buffing - Facilities maintenance - Floor care - Cleanliness and organization - Porter duties - Custodial tasks - Commercial cleaning We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
