Position Summary:
• Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for all patients and visitors.
• Perform laundry services and help ensure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, with an adequate supply of linens and other supplies related to cleaning and laundry are always on hand to best meet the needs of patients/residents.

• Desire to maintain clean and safe work environment
• Ability to take direction and follow through in a professional manner
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to operate standard housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mops, brooms, etc.)
• Outstanding customer service and a kind communication style
Responsibilities:
• Perform day to day laundry duties including collecting, sorting, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging, and distributing as needed
• Proven customer service skills – ability to remain kind and professional towards everyone at work
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Job duties require you to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during through the workday
• Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor. Includes but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, etc.
• Abides by safe and proper handling of all chemical/cleaning products and stocking of housekeeping carts
• Cleans and tidies all assigned areas to satisfactory standards within designated timelines
• Creates/follows daily job duties lists in collaboration with supervisor and other housekeepers, maintaining a record all serviced rooms/areas
• Maintains all equipment in good working condition, reporting any needs for repairs
• Reports equipment/product needs, policy violations and/or patient change in conditions
• Handles reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and informs others when required to ensure patient and guest satisfaction
• Complies with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
