Summary As a Housekeeper at the Doubletree Hotel, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our guest accommodations. This position is essential in upholding our high standards of hospitality and ensuring a pleasant experience for every visitor. Responsibilities • Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness. • Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing as needed. • Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas to ensure availability for guests. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor promptly. • Assist in laundry duties as required, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented. • Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to promote guest safety. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department. Qualifications • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred. • Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization. • Basic knowledge of floor care techniques is a plus but not mandatory. • Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
