Housekeeping/Custodial (Commercial and Residential Properties)

Job Title: Cleaning Professional We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide a range of cleaning services, including custodial work in commercial spaces, general housekeeping for residential properties, and preparing vacant homes for new occupants. Some of these cleaning jobs have you returning to the same property like for office or building cleaning. Some are once off types of cleanings. You can choose what works best for you. The ideal candidate should have relevant cleaning experience, uphold high standards of cleanliness, work efficiently, and take pride in maintaining safe, sanitary, and welcoming environments. Responsibilities · Perform custodial cleaning for both commercial and residential properties, covering areas such as floors, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces. · Carry out general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. · Clean and prepare vacant homes so that all rooms are move-in ready for new residents. · Disinfect high-touch surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. · Restock and organize cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed. · Remove trash, recycling, and debris from designated areas. · Adhere to all company cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards. · Promptly report any maintenance or repair needs. · Maintain all equipment and tools in proper working condition. · Work independently or as part of a team to complete assignments within specified timeframes. Qualifications · Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or turnover cleaning preferred. · Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. · Ability to follow instructions and comply with established cleaning procedures. · Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. · Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks. · Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. · Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of car insurance. · Able to carry up to 40 lbs. and use a backpack vacuum while navigating stairs. · Responsible for transporting personal cleaning supplies to and from job sites.
