Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient HR Data and Reporting Analyst. This role will focus on collecting, validating, and analyzing HR data to drive people strategies, and inform key decisions across the organization.
This individual will be a dedicated resource for HR reporting, dashboard creation, and ongoing analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong Excel skills, an understanding of HR data, and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. A passion for data integrity is essential for success in this role.
This is a fully on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL, and requires up to 10% travel.
Key Responsibilities
HR Data & Reporting
β’ Partner with HR and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful data insights.
β’ Design, build, and maintain recurring HR dashboards and ad hoc reports using Excel and Power Query.
β’ Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across systems.
β’ Validate data across various HR platforms and external data sources to ensure integrity in reporting outputs.
β’ Read and interpret SQL queries to troubleshoot data issues or support reporting development.
Collaboration & Analytics
β’ Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to align HR data efforts with enterprise-wide reporting standards.
β’ Analyze workforce trends and deliver insights that support strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and process improvement.
β’ Make data-informed recommendations to improve HR processes, reporting capabilities, and data quality.
β’ Contribute to system implementations or upgrades by supporting testing, validation, and reporting setup.
Qualifications
β’ 2β4 years of experience in HR analytics, data reporting, or a similar analytical role.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
β’ Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data cleaning techniques.
β’ Familiarity with HR data structures, metrics, and terminology.
β’ Ability to read and understand SQL queries (writing not required but a plus).
β’ Experience working with reporting/visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
β’ Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data validation.
β’ Clear verbal and written communication skills; able to translate complex data into meaningful narratives for stakeholders.
β’ Experience with HR systems such as ADP, UKG, or similar platforms is a plus.
β’ Experience with KPI reporting or workforce metrics is a plus.
