Onboarding Specialist is a vital member of the HR team responsible for delivering a seamless engaging and inclusive onboarding experience for new hires. This role ensures that employees feel welcomed informed and supported from the moment they accept their offer through their initial weeks at IBM.
The candidate will have strong Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2) a background in HR operations and a passion for creating positive employee experiences. They will coordinate cross-functional teams manage onboarding logistics and continuously improve onboarding processes to align with company values and operational excellence.
JLPT N2 certification with strong verbal and written proficiency in Japanese.
3+ years of experience in HR operations preferably in a tech or multinational environment.
Understanding of Japanese business culture and etiquette.
Growth mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with professionalism and attention to detail.
