Job Description

Are you the kind of person who loves helping others, finding solutions, and juggling just the right amount of organized chaos? Do you enjoy being the go-to person who knows all things HR? If so, we want you to be the friendly, resourceful face behind our Human Resources Service Center! As an HR Service Center Representative, you’ll be the first line of HR support—fielding questions, guiding employees through our systems, and ensuring every interaction is helpful, clear, and positive. What You’ll Do: • Serve as the first tier of support for HR-related inquiries, providing accurate and timely information to employees in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Create a positive and efficient employee experience by effectively managing phone, email, and walk-in inquiries through to resolution. • Gather relevant information, research issues, and troubleshoot problems, escalating complex matters as needed. • Assist employees with navigation and troubleshooting of HR systems and self-service tools. • Accurately enter and maintain employee information in HR systems and ensure data integrity across platforms. • Complete administrative tasks, such as responding to unemployment claims and processing employment verifications. • Support leave and accommodation case managers by handling initial inquiries related to leaves of absence and workers’ compensation, verifying eligibility, maintaining case files, and completing follow-up tasks. What You’ll Bring: • Required qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • At least 2 years of experience providing high-quality customer service and support in a professional setting. • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. • Technical aptitude and comfort working with HR systems and data. • Preferred qualifications: • 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to areas such as leave administration, benefits, payroll, HRIS, or shared services. • Experience handling HR policy questions and supporting employees through various HR programs. • Familiarity with leave of absence laws, workers’ compensation processes, and HR compliance. What we’ll offer in return: • A career where your work makes a difference in students’ lives. • Ongoing professional development and growth. • Outstanding benefits and work perks. • Generous PTO starting at 20 business day per year, 11.5 paid Holidays, and Tuition Benefits. • Collaborative and supportive work environment....and more!
