West Monroe is looking for a Sr. Specialist to join our Information & Collaboration Technology (ICT) Team to focus on the configuration, maintenance, and administration of our HR ServiceNow system.
As a senior specialist, you will be responsible for supporting continuous development with a focus on process automation by creating new forms, managing security profiles, building workflows, and overseeing integrations between HR ServiceNow and other platforms within our Talent software ecosystem. This role will require a strong focus on improving employee experiencing through streamlining manual processes, improving ability to find key information quickly, and designing system improvements. Working within an Agile/Scrum team, you will work alongside a team of technical experts to maintain the HR ServiceNow platform, all while learning and growing professionally. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders, participating in backlog grooming and sprint planning, contributing to releases, and ensuring the system functions and meets stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong understanding of HR ServiceNow platform
- Oversee and manage HR ServiceNow platform, ensuring that the system operates as expected
- Focus on process automation that improves the overall employee experience
- Execute improvements to the HR ServiceNow platform that mature the product into a tool that provides high value for our employees
- Work with key stakeholders to gather, understand, and define business requirements
- Collaborate with other departments and corporate IT groups to ensure solutions meet business requirements and fulfill user stories
- Identify and create inventory of process best practice gaps, while maintaining system documentation
- Lead problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with ServiceNow Managed Services Provider to correct software errors and tune/troubleshoot applications; communicate the appropriate technical requirements to their teams for custom development(as necessary)
- Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environmentsÂ
- Provide software advice, level 2 and 3 support, and end user training for HR ServiceNow platform
- Work proactively to remove technical debt and security vulnerabilities, and strive to deliver solutions using talent software products and features without customizations whenever possible

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, human resources, or similar preferred
- 5+ experience working with HR products and suites, i.e. Workday, Greenhouse, other HRIS systems
- Work experience in management/technology consulting or professional services industries preferred
- 2+ years of experience supporting HR ServiceNow
- Demonstrated ability as a subject matter expert to support, maintain, and administer HR ServiceNow
- A "driver" personality - constantly pushing toward clarity and results while balancing the need for great cross-team collaboration
- Desire to learn and continuously improve
- Strong written and oral communication – must be able to work well and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical resources
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum sprint-based environment; understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology concepts, techniques, and ceremonies strongly preferred
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a strong desire to take on new tasks and learn new things
- Ability to analyze, understand, and prioritize business problems
Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
