Job Description
Gowan Company is looking for a Human Resources Information Systems and Compensation Manager to join our Global HR team. This position reports into the Global Head of HR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementation, maintenance, and management of all facets of Gowan HR Information Systems including ADP and any other HRIS platforms.
- Oversees input of new hires, employee changes, transfers in ADP.
- Responsible for processing terminations and separation agreements.
- With support from HR team, communicates US / CAD employee changes, new employees and terminations to Finance, IT and Admin.
- Work with IT to sync employee information from ADP to the IT managed Active Directory.
- Responsible for PTO formulas in ADP.
- PTO management and tracking. Make adjustments to PTO time bank as needed in ADP.
- Work closely with payroll on any employee pay issues.
- Review and respond to incoming unemployment claims to verify validity and dispute as needed.
- File annual EEO-1 reports to DOL.
- Ensures the accuracy and integrity of employee records and data: Accurately submits employee record information when requested in a timely manner.
- Responds to employment verification requests.
- Provides customer service support to internal and external customers, as needed.
- Primary person for wage changes and for annual global wage reviews.
- Prepare United States and Canada wages/benefits budget for finance.
- Manages Organizational Charts at the global level.
- Responsible for managing longevity award data and facilitation.

- Ability to prioritize multiple projects / work within given deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills / Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Organized, detail-orientated, process orientated
- Strong problem-solving, conflict management and decision-making skills
- Technical aptitude and strong analytical skills.
- ERP System experience (JD Edwards, Enterprise one) preferred.
- 4 years of related human resources and HRIS software experience preferred.
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
Required Qualificaitons:
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with minimum 2 years of direct experience in HRIS and compensation required.
- Strong IT skills are essential, with advanced Excel use (pivot tables).
