Job Description

The Human Resources Onboarding Coordinator manages the onboarding process for new hires at all Helios operating centers. This role guides newly offered candidates through the full onboarding process, including background checks, drug screens, welcome calls, onboarding gifts, and coordinating touchpoints.

 WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU: 

  • Manages the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees. 
  • Guides newly offered candidates through background checks, drug screens, new hire paperwork, welcome calls, and coordinating touchpoints. 
  • Communicates professionally and clearly with new hires, including welcome calls, emails with details about the company and onboarding, and touchpoint communication throughout the process so that candidates are informed and feel welcome. 
  • Prepares and sends onboarding gifts to new hires to arrive prior to their first day.
  • Serves as the point person for all stages on onboarding for both new hires and the hiring team.
  • Communicates effectively throughout the onboarding process to ensure new hires, recruiting, human resources, and hiring managers are all up-to-date and informed.
  • Promptly responds to any questions or concerns from new hires throughout the onboarding process.
  • Assists in streamlining and improving the onboarding process.
  • Processes onboarding paperwork, maintaining organized and compliant files.
  • Acts as an ambassador to promote a positive company culture and champion change initiatives throughout the company.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Assists other departments and employees as necessary.
  • Performs related activities as directed.

  • Proven work experience in onboarding or relevant Human Resources role
  • 1-2 years of administrative work experience
  • Experience in HVAC industry a plus 

 

Helios’ compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20 to $23/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
