HVAC Chiller Technician

Looking to hire a direct hire HVAC Chiller Technician in the Dallas, TX area! Serve as a lead and front-line resource to service technicians through technical support and provide guidance and training to other technicians. Perform inspections, testing, repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance of chiller systems. Key Responsibilities: * Trouble-shooting air - cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, water - cooled chillers. * Complete service contracts, quote projects and service calls * Communicate and document project status to project stakeholders. * Serve as a lead and front-line resource to service technicians through technical support. * Coordinate the work of subcontractors. Trains and provides guidance to other technicians. * Purchase materials and issue purchase order numbers to suppliers. * Safely drive a motor vehicle and trailer, follow requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adhere to all company safety requirements. * Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicles. Qualifications * EPA Certifications * 7 years’ experience with centrifugal chiller maintenance and repairs (10 years in the industry) * Advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques and codes is required. * Two-year technical degree in a related field is preferred. * Teardown experience is a plus!
