HVAC Field Service Technician

The Business We are a global industry leader in providing temporary temperature and humidity control solutions to an array of industries such as construction, industrial, and water damage restoration. The Role The service technician will work closely with sales and operations to ensure the install, repair, operation of equipment, and customer service support is met. This role requires the technician to be available for a rotating schedule for emergency service response calls on weekends and evenings. Some travel is required for major water damage projects. Some of the essential job functions, include but are not limited to: • Set up, maintain, and demobilize temporary climate control equipment on project sites. • When not in the field, maintains and prepares equipment for next project opportunity. • Operates company vehicle safely and maintains a good driving record. • Continuous learning and understanding of all equipment. • Pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts. • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and submitting job and service documentation. The Requirements • Ability to travel, sometimes at short notice. • Available for a rotating schedule for emergency service response calls on weekends and evenings. • Maintain a valid driver license and good driving record. • Must be able to pass testing and background requirements for entry into plants, facilities, etc. • High School diploma or equivalent. • 1-3 years of commercial industrial experience with repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment or similar. • Moderate understanding of schematics and diagrams. • Customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
