HVAC Install Manager

About The Role As the HVAC Install Manager in Redwood City, CA, you will play a critical role in establishing and growing the heat pump and heat pump water heater install team at Electric Air. You will work closely with the CEO and HVAC Project Manager to build a high-performing team, foster accountability, enhance communication, and drive improvements in efficiency and profitability. Your leadership will help shape a dynamic and passionate department. Key Responsibilities • Assist in structuring the install team including truck templates, inventory stock, hiring team members, developing the price book, and more. • Utilize data from invoices, timecards, KPI reports, and job performance metrics to review and provide constructive feedback. • Support technicians in achieving both professional and personal growth. • Schedule, prepare, and conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions. • Lead training sessions and facilitate technician ride-alongs. • Work closely with sales and the HVAC project manager to optimize business success. • Address and resolve customer concerns requiring management involvement. • Jump in and assist with service calls as needed to support the team. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, motivating technicians to strive for excellence each day. Qualifications • Minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role within the HVAC industry. • Minimum of 5+ years in a Lead Installer or Service Technician role within the HVAC industry. • Strong knowledge of HVAC products and services. • Ability to inspire and lead a team toward achieving company goals. • Excellent presentation and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and work with diverse teams. • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to follow-through. • A team-first mindset, prioritizing collective success over individual achievements. • High integrity, passion for the Electric Air brand, and a positive attitude.
