Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experiencedHVAC Lead Installerto join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential or commercial settings. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components.
• Ensure all installations meet company, industry, and local code standards.
• Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices to ensure quality workmanship.
• Review work orders and project blueprints to determine required materials, tools, and installation procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues to ensure proper system functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing explanations of installations and system operation.
• Coordinate with team members, dispatch, and management to ensure efficient workflow and job completion.
• Complete all required documentation, including job reports, installation checklists, and warranty forms.
• Keep up to date with industry advancements, new installation techniques, and equipment technology.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum3 yearsof HVAC installation experience, preferably in residential settings.
• EPA 608 Certification required; NATE certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, electrical components, and refrigerants.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple installations efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle physical demands of the job.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
