HVAC Installer

HVAC Service Tech/Installer Dynamic, rapidly growing, third generation, residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning services provider has an opportunity for you to contribute to the strategic development of this organization. Reporting to the general manager, the HVAC Service Tech/installer will be responsible for the installation of HVAC equipment for our residential and commercial clientele. This includes furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, and humidifiers. Essential Functions Electrical 06A or 06B and EPA license is preferred. Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify energy inefficiencies in homes and to evaluate the effectiveness of energy-saving measures. Troubleshoot and Diagnose Mechanical Problems and perform equipment start-ups. Test installed HVAC systems to verify functionality, troubleshoot any issues, and adjust as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining system operation, and offering maintenance tips. Adherent to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols always to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Complete installation documentation accurately and promptly, including work orders, inspection reports, and inventor equipment. Measure, Layout, and Install Ductwork as well as low voltage electrical and control wiring. Maintain positive relationships with customers and program staff. Essential Qualifications: Proven experience as a retro installer in the HVAC industry for a minimum of three – five years. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, as well as refrigeration principles, and property maintenance practices. Proficiency in equipment repair techniques, including welding when necessary. Familiarity with safety standards related to HVAC installations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
