Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated SeniorHVAC/RefrigerationService Technician to join our team in Santa Clara. This dynamic role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing advanced industrial equipment β including HVAC, refrigeration and electrical systems βat customer sites across the West Coast.
Travel & Compensation Details
β’ Approximately 30β45 % travel will be involved, with trips out of state as needed.
β’ Most travel will be by car, with occasional trips by plane as required.
β’ Travel by plane could involve week-long stays, which may extend up to two weeks for special projects. Otherwise, most travel will be day trips.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration systems on-site at customer facilities.
β’ HVAC ELECTRICAL and refrigeration (chillers, walkins, cascade systems)
β’ Repair battery test chambers
β’ Install, maintain, and repair industrial machines in accordance with factory specifications and quality standards.
β’ Diagnose, repair, certify, and recalibrate equipment as needed.
β’ Respond promptly to service calls and provide effective technical solutions.
β’ Support fellow service representatives and customers with hands-on technical expertise.
β’ Develop or modify machine-related software programs and systems.
β’ Perform mechanical tasks, including assembly/disassembly, leveling, diagnostics, and repairs on automated equipment.
β’ Perform electrical tasks, including control system troubleshooting and repairs.
β’ Collaborate with product development teams to establish test processes for new products.
Qualifications
β’ Minimum of 5 years of relevant HVAC/R service experience, preferably with industrial equipment.
β’ Must pass a background and driving screen
β’ HVAC, ELECTRICAL, REFERIGERATION
β’ Experience with chillers, WALKINS, RTU's
β’ Ability to read and troubleshoot refrigeration schematics.
β’ Battery test Chamber experience highly desired
β’ Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
β’ Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and software systems.
β’ Ability to read and interpret industrial control panel schematics.
