HVAC Service

(MUST HAVE RESIDENTIAL HVAC EXPERIENCE) Operate, maintain, and repair all equipment used for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for residence equipment. This individual supports the business by traveling to customers and helping create solutions for their homes. You will partner with the business to diagnose issues and repairs. In addition to supporting Milestone efforts to ensure we are effectively communicating with our customers. Duties and Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems. • Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer. • Be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs of our customers. • Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting vehicle inspection form. • EXTREME customer service skills, Ability to interact with homeowners, collect money and relay information clearly. • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment on the vehicle. • Educate homeowner on potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services) • Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems. • Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed in this description. • May perform other job duties as directed by team member’s leaders. • Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies. • Active (Valid) Driver’s License. (3 yrs of clean driving history) required. • Candidates must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen. • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Skills: • Positive-forward thinking and excellent in conflict resolution. • Must have a minimum of3 years of HVAC residential service experience (required). • A current EPA certification and State Registered TDLR (required). • Excellent organization, communication, and prioritization skills • Strong multi-tasking skills, including the ability to flex on demand across multiple support channels. • Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret plans and manuals. • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, and IOS devices, • Demonstrate our Milestone and Leader Core Values Physical and Mental Requirements • Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces • Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods • Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders and tunnels • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow or sleet • Must have mental skills such as critical thinking , problem solving, and a technical vocabulary to understand direction and adhere to established procedures. • Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints.
