Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. This role involves overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
• Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Provide guidance and training to service technicians on best practices in HVAC design, plumbing, refrigeration, and equipment repair.
• Review schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and ensure proper implementation of HVAC systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments on property maintenance tasks related to air conditioning, boilers, and general mechanical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and inventory management for parts and supplies.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team-building initiatives.
Skills
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and boiler operations.
• Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to HVAC design.
• Experience as a service technician with hands-on skills in appliance repair and field service operations.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repair or installation projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.
