HVAC Service Technician (3 Years Experience Required)

We service contractors, engineers, and wholesalers in our area from project design to equipment start-up Job Description:In this role, you will play a critical part in commissioning and servicing our HVAC equipment. You will be responsible for the initial startup, testing, and performance optimization of newly manufactured equipment after it has been installed on commercial projects. This role also requires warranty repairs and service work for existing equipment. Responsibilities: • Daily travel to jobsites to perform service/startup of boilers, pumps, variable frequency, water heaters, and other products to ensure proper installation and operation. • Utilize technical manuals and schematics to effectively start up and commission HVAC equipment • Conduct performance testing to verify functionality, efficiency, and safety of each unit • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues identified during startup • Optimize equipment performance to ensure it meets target specifications • Maintain daily detailed documentation of service reports, startup procedures, test results, and any adjustments made. • Collaborate with the sales team and engineering team as needed to address technical challenges • Assist with training new technicians on startup procedures Qualifications: • 3-5 years of experience with commercial boiler and controls covering startup, troubleshooting, service, and repair. • Must be able to read and understand wiring schematics. • Must be familiar with three phase motor wiring. • Strong understanding of all types of hydronic HVAC systems, tools, equipment, and installation methods. • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills while working in the field. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
