Reliable Ducts Heating and Cooling is a Jacksonville based HVAC contractor that provides service, maintenance, and new construction service throughout Jacksonville. We are a sister company of Sunshine State Plumbing which has provided plumbing services in the Jacksonville area for 15+ years. We are a family owned and operated business. Job Overview In this role, you’ll put your expertise to work diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems—while also mentoring junior techs and delivering exceptional customer service. Pay & Benefits • Competitive Pay-($20-$30HR) plus Commission! • Work-life balance • 80% company-paid medical insurance • Dental, vision, short & long-term disability coverage • 401K W/ 4% Company Match • Paid time off + paid holidays • Paid training & advancement opportunities • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Company provided vehicle, cell phone, Ipad and gas card What You’ll Do • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems (focus on heat pumps) • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and filter changes • Communicate clearly with customers about repairs and recommendations • Deliver top-tier customer service with professionalism and care • Work closely with dispatch, parts, install, and management teams • Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and stock inventory as needed • Accurately complete job-related paperwork and documentation • Mentor junior technicians and participate in ongoing training What We’re Looking For • 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service, diagnosis, and repair experience • EPA Certification required • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting background • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction • Leadership experience or mentoring mindset is a big plus • Experience with Service Titan software is a bonus Must be able to pass a background check, and drug tests prior to and throughout employment.
