HVAC Service Technician

This position will work with residential homeowners for service, maintenance, and repairs. What we have to offer: • Take home company vehicle + gas card • Warehouse support staff • Company Uniform • Company Phone • Training opportunities for industry certifications, • Dealer training for CarrierMitsubishi Position:HVAC Service Technician Benefits:Union Benefits Pay:Union Scale Schedule: • Monday Through Friday • 7:00am to 4:00pm • Full-Time • Overtime available What you will be doing: • Dispatched to calls by our expertly trained in-house dispatcher • Service / maintenance / repair on residential heating and air conditioning systems • Consulting customers on repair or replacement options as needed • Educating customers on new technology and IAQ accessories • Providing the customer with a high-quality experience • Testing and balancing systems Required Qualifications: • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record • 2 years of residential HVAC Service experience or combination of education and experience • EPA Type 12 or EPA Universal Certification • Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques • Advanced customer service skills • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques • Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customers as well as company • Well organized and ability to work independently • Verbal and written communication skills • Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School desired • High school diploma or its equivalent Learn more about us:www.guardianheatingandcooling.com
